Requirements
An Hex editor, for example HxD:

Install the Hex editor, like any other software, unzip Wulf’s rebuilder anywhere you want, save the randomizer anywhere you want.
Back up your current saves
-On windows, go to C:Users<your user name>DocumentsNBGIDarkSouls
-This folder contains one file, this is your game file, make a copy of it anywhere else.
Modify the game executable
-Go to your Dark souls game folder. (From your Steam folder steamappscommonDark Souls Prepare to Die EditionDATA)
-Make a backup of your Darksouls.exe file
-Open your Darksouls.exe file using the Hex Editor.
-Use a “Research and Remplace” function (on HxD press Ctrl+R), to replace occurrences of the following Unicode Strings with “dvdroot:” (without the quotes):
dvdbnd0:
dvdbnd1:
dvdbnd2:
dvdbnd3:
(Note: Depending on the editor you use, when using this research & replace function be careful to position your cursor at the beginning of the file, else it might move your cursor during the operation, meaning the next replacement will not affect the beginning of the file)
-Save the modifications and close the Hex editor

Extract the necessary files
-Open Wulf Rebuilder
-Drag and drop or select the location of dvdnbd0.bhd5 in the Rebuilder
-Click the extract button (this operation may take a few minutes)
-Do the same with dvdbnd1.bhd5, dvdnbd2.bhd5, and dvdbnd3.bhd5
-You will now have one folder called dvdnbdX.bhd5.extract for each file.
-Enter dvdbnd0.bhd5.extract, if it contains files named NOMATCH-something rename them as follows:
-Move those renamed file to the sfx folder
-Move everything except filelist.txt one level above (where your Darksouls.exe is located)
-Do the same with the remaining folders dvdbnd1/2/3.bhd5.extract move everything they contains one level above, except filelist.txt. Do it in the natural order 1, 2, 3, and always overwrite the files when asked.
-Check that each extract folder only contains filelist.txt, and you can safely delete those folders.
Randomize the items
-Go to *paramGameParam* and extract GameParam.parambnd.dcx using Wulf Rebuilder
-You should now have a file called GameParam.parambnd, extract it using Wulf Rebuilder too.
-You should now have a folder called GameParam.parambnd.extract navigate inside it until you find a folder containing a lot of .param files.
-Make a backup of the file ItemLotParam.param somewhere else.
-Open the Randomizer and select ItemLotParam.param, choose the option you want for your run, (I recommend generating a cheatsheet in case you can’t find some key item.), then click “Scramble items & Export”
-We now need to rebuild those data files else chagnes made to the ItemLotParam will not be read by the game.
-Go back to *paramGameParam*, open Wulf Rebuilder select GameParam.parambnd and click Rebuild.
-Select GameParam.parambnd.dcx and click Rebuild.
You have now succesfully randomized the game Item table.
Start the Game as you always do and enjoy your run!
