It´s okay. You get cheat codes from http://www.codejunkies.com/ . And to the above poster: The reason why it crashed because you enabled too many codes at once (Like some codes, you aren´t supposed to have it on if you have another code on, otherwise it can crash etc). To make it work, you´re supposed to edit the usrcheat.dat that comes with it. I´m not too sure about making a new one though since I haven´t tried it yet. |

Comment On: - R4 Cheat Code Editor | | | How do you run the cheat program in the R4? Like how do you load up the cheats? Don´t you need and nds file? |

| Sun, April 15th, 2007 at 20:10 | | when loading a cheat database from the simply, it says its in the wrong format. Do you know why? I´m checking if I have to change the name, because they are both in .dat EDIT- IT doesnt work, so there is a small difference between the M3 format of cheats compared to the R4 one. Also, is there a list where I can find what the M3 has built in codes for?

This doesnt work. Nothing happens when I press y. |

Make sure you have the CHEAT.dat file in your system folder AS WELL AS THE usrcheat.dat IF FOR SOME REASON YOU ARE USING CUSTOM CHEATS Also, where can I find AR codes for Jappanese games? |

EDIT: Nevermind, I read the question wrong heh heh. Japanese codes can also be found on Codejunkies. In the codes section, change the region to Japan. Also, it does work, no difference between the M3 and R4. The filename of the thing needs to be usrcheat.dat . I´ll post a video up, showing that it works, in a bit. EDIT 2: Here´s the link to the youtube vid (Sorry, I don´t know how embed it on to the forums). I wonder why it took Youtube so long to process it though. And before you ask, Mario Kart DS (U) didn´t have any preloaded codes so I used the game as an example showing that the cheat editor works for the M3 Simply too. EDIT 3: Youtube link removed because I took down the clip. |
